Partners Multipurpose Senior Services Program (MSSP) attended the Give Big Kern Event last weekend. Give Big Kern is a major event in Kern County that offers the opportunity for community members and organizations to support a cause they care about.
Partners’ MSSP serves older adults (65+) living in Los Angeles County, Kern County and Santa Barbara County, qualified for Medi-Cal, and functionally impaired or have a medical condition that makes it difficult to complete everyday activities. MSSP services support independent living at home, and help seniors avoid unnecessary and costly nursing home placement. We had a great time connecting with community members in Kern County and talking about how lifechanging MSSP is to our participants.
In attendance was Olivia Lara, MSSP Program Assistant, Vanessa Gamino, MSW Intern, and Marlene Nelson, MSSP Supervisor.
