Congratulations! In honor of National Nurses Month, we would like to highlight Gilbert Catahol, RN, as Partners in Care Foundation’s May Employee of the Month
Gilbert Catahol, RN has been with Partners in Care Foundation since 2016. As a Nurse Care Manager, he conducts Initial Health Assessments and annual reassessments to the participants of the Multipurpose Senior Services Program (MSSP) in North Los Angeles.
Gilbert provides health education, medication management and consultations to seniors in the program so that they can better manage their medical conditions and live longer and safer in their homes.
Gilbert is passionate about nutritional health and loves to share his vast knowledge with senior participants on how eating healthy can prevent health complications and better manage high-risk conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, depression, and digestive problems. Gilbert is great with MSSP participants, and they are always happy to hear from him.
Gilbert is also an essential team member as he leads Wellness classes for Partners and provides helpful information on healthy food consumption. The monthly Wellness Programs were very popular among staff and participants were always excited to receive nutritional health coaching provided by Gilbert. He also demonstrated how to prepare healthy vegan and vegetarian dishes and provided tips on how to maintain a healthy eating lifestyle.
Gilbert is a team player, creative, calm, and insightful. Gilbert helps make the workplace environment enjoyable for the MSSP team and has a wonderful sense of humor. It is with great honor to recognize Gilbert Cahatol as Employee of the Month and during National Nurses Month. Congratulations Gilbert, it’s well deserved!
