Congratulations to Nicholas Gonzalez, Partners’ Community Linkages Specialist, for receiving Employee of the Month for July 2024!
Nicholas joined the agency in May 2022 as a care coordinator for the ECM Department, and in September 2023, joined the Communications team as the Community Linkages Specialist.
His role currently focuses on community relations and outreach for Partners’ programs, with a focus on supporting the Multipurpose Senior Services Program (MSSP) by increasing referrals and enrollments.
Within the past year, Nicholas has conducted forty in-person and virtual MSSP presentations to CBOs, health plans, hospitals, senior centers, and other senior/health care facilities. These presentations resulted in an 85% increase in MSSP website referrals compared to the previous year and over fifty new community referral sources. Most notable presentations conducted include Blue Shield CA social workers, Harbor UCLA team of direct care providers, USC health consultants, and Anthem Blue Cross’s care coordination team.
Nicholas possesses strong public speaking and interpersonal skills, and his ability to develop long term relationships through effective community engagement makes him an integral part of the Partners’ team. Nicholas, we are constantly amazed by your exceptional performance. Congratulations!
