The Time is truly NOW! Spring is here, the rates of COVID-19 virus are dropping, and we are so excited to be able to welcome you to our 21st Annual Tribute Dinner honoring Paul Viviano and Dr. Paul Torrens! Our team is hard at work to ensure that every detail of our event contributes to a joyful celebration of the outstanding work of these two leaders in healthcare. As we continue to plan, your safety, comfort, and enjoyment are our priorities! 

Every safety measure will be observed, but we are celebrating that we can honor our heroes in person. As of this writing, state and county guidelines govern in-person events. While it is possible that some of these restrictions will be eased as we get closer to the event, we are writing today to let you know what we must ask of each of our guests who attends our Tribute Dinner at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

We require all guests who are attending the event to:

  • Pre-register
  • Send a photo or pdf of your vaccination card or negative COVID test to Victoria at vloy@picf.org or (747) 500-4099 at least 3 days prior to the event (please read details below)
  • Bring your government-issued photo ID to the event

Here are the safeguards in place:

  • Hand sanitizing stations are located throughout the hotel site
  • Each guest entering the hotel will undergo a temperature check upon arrival
  • Everyone must wear a face mask except when eating or drinking
  • Tables and seating will be social distanced in accordance with the particular guidelines in place at that time

Here are the “rules of the day”:

1. Pre-registration

The guidelines do not allow us to admit anyone who is not pre-registered. If you are a sponsor who has purchased multiple seats, please make sure we have the names and email addresses of each person on your guest list. If you are purchasing tickets for others, please send names and email addresses of all your guests to Victoria Loy at vloy@picf.org.

2. Provide proof of full vaccination or proof of a recent negative COVID test at least three days prior to the event

So that we can expedite your entry to the event, please send us proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test as it becomes available. Email/Text a photo or pdf of your vaccination card to Victoria Loy at vloy@picf.org or (747) 500-4099 at least 3 days prior to the event. Documents will be stored in a secure database. We must have the information on hand at the event in case the Department of Health is on site and asks for proof.

Full vaccination is defined as being two weeks past the date of the second vaccination if a two-dose vaccine, or 2 weeks past the vaccination if a single-dose vaccine. A photo or pdf of your vaccination card is sufficient proof.

If you are presenting a PCR (swab/saliva) test result, the specimen must have been collected within 72 hours of the June 21 event. If you are presenting the results of an antigen test, the specimen must have been collected within 24 hours of the event. A photo or pdf of the report is acceptable proof.

3. Bring your government-issued photo ID to the event

We are required to verify the identity of each guest and their vaccination/test record prior to entering the event. Please bring your government-issued photo ID to the event when you register.

We cannot wait to see you and hope that you will agree with us that complying with these rules is a small price to pay for the sheer enjoyment of being able to gather together once again! The Time IS Now! Please join us!!
