Congratulations to Shamael Ali, LCSW, for receiving Employee of the Month for June!
Shamael is a Partners’ Supervisor for the Home and Community Based Alternative (HCBA) Waiver Program, has been employed with Partners for 9 years. Shamael started her journey at Partners when she was placed with our agency to complete her second-year internship as a Geriatric Social Work Education Consortium (GSWEC) student.
After graduating she was hired as a full time Care Transitions Coach with our California Community Transitions and Assisted Living Waiver Program, where she collaborated with the managed care plans on placing members into Residential Care Facilities for the Elders and/or Assisted Living Facilities. She then transitioned into the HCBA Waiver Program as a Social Worker/Lead Social Worker and promoted shortly into a management role.
Shamael is a compassionate and dedicated leader; she assists in many areas of our program operations and community partnerships to efficiently help our participants prosper within the community. We are happy to have Shamael on the team because of her valuable background and clinical expertise. Congratulations!
